If you genuinely want to succeed, then there is little chance that you will fail. I am saying this because I recently saw my brother excel in his Common Admission Test or CAT and make his way to one of the top MBA colleges in Delhi. The surprising thing about him was he started to prepare while there was almost no time left!
Everyone who came to know about his attempt encouraged him to take the next year’s exam, but he didn’t pay much heed. Deep down, even I was scared as I know CAT preparation takes a great deal of time and practice to crack it with good score. My brother barely had any time left. I saw his determination to make it work and we all saw him transform in those days. He was absorbed in to the world of MBA and CAT. He was hell bent on getting through one of the top 10 business schools in Delhi the same year- which he did!
He took up a smart strategy to prepare for the exam. If you too are preparing for CAT in a short notice, you can take help from this! He, at first, identified his strengths and weakness. He practiced as much he could from the areas he knew he was adept. When he was confident about that, he moved on to the sections where he needed more effort. He consulted his tutors, seniors, books, libraries, etc. to get a wholesome idea of the topics.
What he did next was trying to solve as many online tests he could. All these sound extremely taxing as they require a lot of hard work, and to be honest, they are. Taking online tests did the magic for my brother and he got away with brilliant scores, surprising everyone who thought this was impossible. But he proved there is no better way than a combination of smart work, and hard work.
