The Job Hunt After MBA: Tips To Help

Most of us believe that the degree of MBA serves like a gateway to multiple jobs- which might actually be true too, considering the sky-rocketing placement performances of the business schools.

Some of the top mba colleges of delhi even have placement percentages as high as 95%. While the students of these colleges do not have to worry about getting jobs at the end of the year, there are many students who pursue MBA from not-so-top business schools and may have to look around for jobs outside their placement cells. But you've got to make sure that you look around wisely, and that you don't give us easily. Here's a list of tips that you should follow during your hunt for a job after MBA.

•    It's not enough: If you've applied for a fair amount of jobs, don't sit back. Don't blindly expect your applications to turn out positively. Not saying that you should lack self-esteem and stay unconfident, but there's always scope for betterment, and maybe you should apply for one more job to get your dream position.

•    Social networking: And here, we're not saying that all the late night hours should be spent on You Tube and Facebook. Try browsing the networking sites where you can make corporate links up. Go to LinkedIn or similar sites and network with professionals.

•    Study: Don't cease studying even if you've graduated from one of the Top Management Colleges in Delhi, you might need to know more for getting through a job, and study more than just the employer's website. Your require more than the business school grades to show your eligibility.

•    Ask upright: If you've received no response after an interview, don't take it as rejection for you still stand a chance! You must ask them upfront about your results, obviously after waiting for a considerable amount of time.
Stay confident and go for it!
