IILM and its Relationship with the Alumni

There are five main pillars of any successful educational institution, education, management, students, placements and its alumni, each pillar has a unique role to play, and all of these are equally important. These are also the main factors that define the prestige and standard of top MBA colleges in India and IILM institute for higher education, which claims to be one of the top MBA colleges of Delhi, maintains all of these to ensure that they produce excellent business leaders.

IILM maintains a close relationship with its alumni and ensures their active participation. The institute fosters a bond with its students and ex-students and links them together.  IILM has a network of 7,000 well placed alumni over and across the world, which is a result of excellent training and curriculum which uses Harvard University learning material, and this level of education makes it one of the top MBA colleges in India. The college maintains alumni relations with the help of frequent reunions and programs. The Alumni association helps the students in their career growth as they provide excellent link to world’s best employers, and their references are valuable. Thus, to utilize this connection for the future generation entrepreneurs, they have formed an association that is working towards this. It’s only because of these unique steps that IILM is one amongst the top MBA colleges of Delhi.

The association consists of Alumni members, a faculty coordinator and student representatives from the current batch. IILM and The Alumni Association organize various events round the year which include seminars workshops, and training programs. The main focus of these events is to give updated information about the current happenings in the business world. IILM organizes annual Alumni Meet on third Sunday of December every year; moreover there are monthly meetings as well to promote regular coordination and sharing of ideas. The Alumni Association has come up with alumni network for ‘mentorship program’; the aim of this program is to give a platform to the current students where they can meet with their seniors, know each other and learn from their wisdom and experiences.

Thus, the extensive alumni network and the availability of a platform to share experiences provide better placement opportunities and real-world exposure to IILM students.
